A Little About Me...

001. My name is Becky Lee... not Rebecca.

002. I was born on December 9th and I'm a Sagittarian.

003. Dogs are the sweetest gift that God gave to mankind. My two Yorkies, are always so overjoyed to see me when I return, whether it is after a days work or 10 minutes in the yard.

004. I like cats too but hate cleaning a litter box.

005. Growing up in the 60's was a delight. I knew I had the freedom to become anything I'd like and crime was minimal. As a child I could play outside until after dark without causing worry to my parents.

006. Viewing and creating graphics is my utmost passion and has been for more years than I care to remember. Prior to that it was oil painting or sculpting with clay.

007. Computers are simply amazing because of the endless hours of entertainment. Research at the click of a mouse or viewing priceless art anytime I'd like.

008. My favorite ice cream is Bryers chocolate chip drowning in chocolate syrup

009. My love affair with fairies began when I first saw Tinkerbell in the movie "Peter Pan".

010. Dee and I have been best friends for 40 years. Can you say... looooong time?

011. I know how to roller skate but not ice skate.

012. I believe in God.

013. I believe that I am spiritual but not religious.

014. I think organized religion and attending churches is similar to belonging to a club.

015. I don't believe that I'm going to hell just because I don't go to church.

016. Actually, I don't believe in hell.

017. I worked at the Space Center when the world lost the Challenger.

018. I like to learn new things. I took a course in Income Tax preparation and got a real estate sales license... just because. Learning new software is the best!

019. I don't understand why women like to 'window shop'. What a complete waste of time!

020. I had a constant fairy companion for several years when I was young. She was only about 3 inches tall and no one could see her but me. She would sit on my books as I walked to the bus stop each morning to keep me company.

021. Gourmet coffee is addicting and my current favorite is Hazelnut.

022. I have 5 adult children and 9 grandchildren.... a 10th is on the way!

023. I love all kinds of music and especially jazz and blues. It gives me butterflies in my stomach when I hear a jazzy, torch song.

024. I detest spiders because they are so sneaky and creepy.

025. I like to play Scrabble and the card game Euchre.

026. I went through my entire teenage years and never once experimented with drugs. I knew they were "out there" but just never came into contact with them.

027. I did use pot as an adult and liked it but the expense and urge to EAT resulting in weight gain is a great deterrent.

028. I was born and raised as a Catholic. I attended a Catholic grade school for 8 years.

029. I love to shoot pool but not especially good at it.

030. I've never had a broken bone.

031. I am very organized... to a fault perhaps? As an example, the canned veggies in my pantry are all arranged by their various colors.

032. I dislike loud noises like guns, fireworks and balloons popping.

033. I very seldom wear a watch.

034. I am in my 50's and don't have any gray hair. I must take after my maternal grandmother who didn't start graying until she was in her late 60's.

035. My husband says I don't get gray hair... I give them :D.

036. I got a tatoo on my ankle about a year ago and it hurt more than giving birth.

037. When I was 14 years old, I stole a 45 record named "Sweet William" by slipping it in my purse. The security guard saw me and suggested I pay for it. I was so embarrassed and that was the first and last time I took anything without paying for it.

038. I joined the girl scouts when I was about 9 years old. One of the first things we did after I joined was go to a classical symphony concert. I was so bored and left the scouts after about 3 weeks.

039. I joined the chorus in high school even though I can't carry a tune in a bucket. LOL.

040. I hate to be late so consequently, I usually end up arriving at least 30 minutes early (even to work).

041. I took Spanish in high school and can still remember how to count to ten in Spanish.

042. I have considered writing short stories for children.

043. I have always loved to read and usually have 3-4 books or magazine articles going at the same time.

044. My favorite book as a child was "Anne of Green Gables".

045. I hate wearing shoes and kick them off whenever I get the chance.

046. When I was 6 years old, my first boyfriend was Denny Mikels. I was attracted to him because he could whistle really loud and run very fast. Important traits when you are young.

047. If my youngest son, David had been born a girl, I would have named "her" Kerrie Marie.

048. I hate mustard because it is so bitter tasting.

049. My favorite alcoholic drink is White Russians because they taste like milk shakes.

050. I very seldom drink alcohol because I get tremendous hangovers even after a drink or two. The cost of a buzz is too high.

051. When Zelda first came out on Nintendo, I was so addicted to it that I got blisters on my thumbs and didn't want to pause to eat or sleep.

052. When I'm not in a hurry, I have wonderful penmanship. This is the result of attending Catholic grade school where penmanship was one of our daily classes and we were graded on it.

053. I was born in Indiana and moved to Florida when I was 14 years old.

054. During my short career as a waitress in Daytona Beach, Paul Newman and his entourage had dinner where I worked. I took his leftovers home (linguini with white clam sauce) so I could show them to my girlfriend. LOL

055. I hate to exercise but have a treadmill in my computer room... just in case I get an urge.

056. So far I haven't had any urges.

057. When people say they "lost their virginity" they lie.... they know where it went and who they gave it to ;)

058. I dislike talking on the phone and think solicitors are an invasion to my privacy.

059. I adore making people laugh.

060. I quit school when I was 15 years old but went back later as an adult to get my GED and 2 years of community college.

061. I prefer showers over baths because I still feel dirty after soaking in my own juices.

062. I never learned how to swim but wish I had. I wouldn't be caught dead in a bathing suit now so lessons are out of the question.

063. I enjoy doing crossword puzzles and will sometimes do them online with our local newspaper.

064. I suffered from severe depression when I was in my late 30's until I sought counseling. I was put on Prozac after it first became available and I believe it saved my life.

065. I collect fairies and when the word got out, my kids inundated me with them. They are scattered all over my house and completely fill a curio cabinet.

066. Whenever I see a falling star or blow out candles on my birthday cake, I usually make a wish for my children instead of myself.

067. My favorite colors are ice blue and lavender.

068. I'm proud to be an American.

069. My mother died in 1979, when she was 54 years old of lung cancer.

070. My father died in 2003, when he was 81 years old of Alzheimer's/pneumonia complications.

071. My sister died in 1982, when she was 30 years old by committing suicide.

072. I dislike yard work. The dirt gets under my fingernails and feels awful.

073. I am allergic to poison ivy and most weeds. When I was a young girl, my eyes swelled completely shut due to weed poisoning.

074. I'm not afraid of death at all but pain scares me.

075. I like to believe that there is a heaven where I will be reunited with all the people and animals that I loved.

076. French accents are soothing to me but the Queen's English and German are harsh.

077. In my 20's and 30's, I hated being alone and constantly sought the company of others

078. Now I revel in my own company.

079. I would rather email than talk on the phone.

080. I carry a cell phone but very rarely talk on it.

081. If someone is upset with me, it bothers me immensely.

082. I am near-sighted and have to wear glasses when I drive.

083. I strongly believe in pro-choice in all aspects of our lives. Without choices... what is our purpose?

084. I would like to learn to play the piano.

085. I wear the wedding band my father gave to my mother and one of my sister's earrings and never take them off.

086. I learned to knit when I was 15 years old and made an afghan for my mother. It was buried with her and I have never knitted a thing since then.

087. I think I am overly dramatic at times but it just gushes out when I am affected by beauty.

088. My favorite number is '6'

089. I have a black thumb instead of a green thumb.

090. I have kept all of my wall calendars since 1969 and don't have a clue why I save them.

091. I have more patience than you can imagine while painting or doing graphics on a computer.

092. I have NO patience with electronic devices... like VCR's.

093. I believe any relationship can flourish with humor and laughter. It is the single most important ingredient in marriage or friendship.

094. I seldom watch TV.

095. I love to dance and I'm at my best when I'm alone and no one is looking.

096. I would like to visit New Orleans some day.

097. If I were able to visit a foreign country, I would like to go to Greece.

098. My favorite vacations are in the Smoky mountains.

099. Once I snuck onto a stage in the middle of a fashion show wearing blue jeans just to get a laugh from my friends.

100. I'm uncomfortable around the elderly.

101. I will fight for the underdog every time.

102. The supernatural interests me.

103. One of the best vacations I ever had was spending a week in a small camper at a Florida springs.

104. I once worked with a girl named Heidi Duty.

105. I believe everything turns out just exactly the way it's supposed to.

106. I don't think clowns are at all funny.

107. I love my mother-in-law.

108. My sense of direction is non-existent.

109. I took belly dancing lessons to get back in shape after having my youngest son.

110. I think Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock are just adorable.

111. "When Harry met Sally" is one of my favorite movies.

112. My sense of humor is a little on the dark side.

113. I have two yorkies named "Korkie" and "Kricket".

114. I drive a SUV and love it.

115. I love antique furniture and own a spinning wheel that is about 100 years old.

116. I have a collection of cobalt blue bottles.

117. I meant to stop at 100 but I think it started to get good to me. Thanks for reading.
